Winter Park CO

Explore Colorado’s Jewel of a Winter Playground!

Winter Park is the closest major ski resort to Denver, (only 70 miles away) yet it is tucked away in the high-country corner of the Rockies, nestled right in the heart of the Fraser Valley.  Winter Park offers unparallel views and easy access to over 3,000 skiable acres and the community has worked to keep the down-to-earth ski town vibe they are known for.  The opportunities for mountain adventure are endless, but all share one common appreciation for this vast and pristine area.

With over 80 years of history, Winter Park is Colorado’s longest continually operated ski resort.  Winter Park Ski Resort features Six Territories across 3081 acres of award-winning terrain, from groomers to black diamonds and everything in between, there is something for everyone.  Skiers’ favorites include Winter Park Territory with groomers and good times from Beginner to Black Diamonds, Mary Jane, home of big bumps, abundant trees and occasionally some very sore quads, and Parsenn Bowl,  travelling to 12,000 feet with 360 degrees view and an amazing journey down.  There is so much to see and to do,  and Apres at Mary Jane is just the start. When the lifts stop spinning, there's a whole different world of adventure happening on the mountain you can only experience after the last chair. From sunset views snuggled inside a snow cat to tubing under colorful lights to cheers-ing amid the alpenglow, your day deserves an encore.

Piccadilly is staying at the Vintage Hotel, featuring comfortable and convenient accommodations located at the entrance to the resort (studios with kitchenette).  A year-round heated pool, hot tub and in-room fireplace are all included! Plus, your trip includes airfare, motor coach to and from the resort, 3-day lift ticket, close in lodging and all the fun that goes with being a Piccadillian on one of our trips.
